My beloved and long time favorite character to draw, Tijolo.

If you stop by my deviantart account you'll find a handful of talented artists over there that've fan-arted him (plus the 3-4 other drawings of him ive done) Hard to hate the little rocky, naked guy.

Trying to get back into painting. Once completed I want to look much like the works of my current favorite children's book artist, Glin Dibley. Amazing style, be sure to look em up/buy his works.

Every few hours I spend on it i'll scan it/take a photo. This'll be the first time ive ever done a progression on something. Wish me luck. If you have any suggestions/tips im more than open for em. Peace.

I cant see how its natural to draw like that.
But this guy is pretty awesome to me today. I might add him to the right side when Im feeling less lazy. Kevin, give me a demo... how do I draw that animated style withOUT biting?

Got a wacom tablet for christmas! Smaller than I assumed due to the size of the packaging... but this is a good size one to learn on I suppose.

Kinda like learning to drive stick on a 87 Mazda Pickup, then graduating to a STOOPIT crazy/sexy DEMON on wheels :).

Anxious to check out a few tutorials ive been saving for the past 2 years or so.. OR just whore Kevin, Enrico, Lamar and The Rhodes Bros sites and just VIBE off thier shit and learn by watching.

B/W version here. Wrote a short story for a friend's anthology book dealie a while back that I LOST due to reformatting. But its main focuses were snowboarding, Sherpras, The clubbing of demonic baby seals AND killer 6 foot emporer penguins... which are my favorite animals outside of Hedgehogs, Naked Mole-rats and Sun Bears.
Might try and rewrite it.. tho I dont think it was more than just a premise. I dont ever remember putting these online, but correct me if I'm wrong. More sporatic updates after the holidays, for sure.

HE penciled and colored this thing a few months ago tho not many people may have seen it because I'm not sure if he showed it around too many places or not. But when he was at my spot over thanksgiving i snatched it from him and printed it on cardstock.
A few small mistakes here and there but overral I think an ok job.
